Description:

Copacabana, MacMasters; Little Beaches, Bombi Moor Trail; Coastal Walk to Maitland Bay, Gerrin Pt, Bullimah Spur, Marie Byles Lookout, Maitland Bay Drive, Daleys Pt MTB trails, Rip Bridge, Ettalong. A top coastal walk with amazing views. Public transport friendly. Tracks, trails, some connecting roads, rope assisted rock scramble up Bullimah Spur. Suggested public transport for weekdays: Bus #66A from Gosford Station Stand J at 8:45am to Copacabana Surf Club. At end of walk, suggest bus stop in Ocean View Rd in front of Ettalong Diggers for frequent buses to Woy Woy Station. On the day of the walk as logged on the gpx file, we had to divert via The Scenic Rd for the section between MacMasters Beach and Little Beach, because of firetrail maintenance. Refer to walk “Copacabana to Wagstaffe via Maitland Bay; Marie Byles LO” for the route between MacMasters and Little Beaches. Metrics based on the original route. Check that Cockrone Lagoon is not open to the sea – this will only be a problem after a long period of heavy rainfall. There is no easy diversion between Copacabana and MacMasters Beaches should the channel be uncrossable.
