The upside of the lockdown has been to really discover my local area, after living here for many years. Away from my favourite beaches, and bays, walks I have walked along streets I’ve never walked before, admired interesting houses, discovered hidden reserves accessible only by footpaths, and chatted with friendly strangers tending their gardens. These are some random photos taken over the past few days as I walked solo, from Cronulla, through Burraneer, Lilli Pilli, Caringbah, Miranda, Woolooware and Taren Point.
