Description:

Bus from Gosford to Kariong, then Bulgandry, Lyre Trig, Glyphs, Koolewong Ridge to Anvil Rock, Waterfall Creek, Spion Kop and return, Honeycomb Caves, Parks Bay, Woy Woy. Aboriginal sites, interesting hieroglyphs, sparkling water views, spectacular tafoni weathered caves. Tracks, trails, waterfront walkways. One trail steep and slippery, one track a bit overgrown. For the walk logged, the Glyphs site was out-of-bounds (concern for rock fall), so group instead focused on the “Grandmother Tree”. The walk finishes at the Old Woy Woy Hotel as is the tradition.
