Lisarow, St Johns Lookout, Katandra Circuit (Toomeys, Waterman & Graves Walks), Mouat Trail, Red Gum, Flannel Flower, Iron Bark & Casuarina Walks, Gosford. Variation of an old favourite with “some of the most spectacular landscapes” on the Central Coast. Public transport friendly. Country roads, tracks, trails, some connecting streets.
New route worked very well apart from noisy dogs along the country road. Top views and varied landscapes and vegetation – route definitely a “keeper”. Toilets at St Johns Lookout closed due to vandalism. Morning tea at Seymour Pond and lunch at Yaruga Lookout (flush toilets available). Option to call into Hotel Gosford for refreshments on way to Gosford Station.
