Description:
Leader aware route had to be varied. Track to Maitland Bay closed for maintenance (water damage). On the day NPWS had closed the alternative route for aerial spraying. Visited Marie Byles lookout earlier than envisaged. Helped by knowledgeable local member, Graeme to find an amazing rock platform with panoramic views for lunch. Some members enjoyed drinks and chat at Hardy’s Bay. An earlier ferry suited everyone as cooler weather set in. A good day despite changes. Walk will be repeated in Spring.
