The cycle starts from the junction of Ada Avenue & Boden Avenue. The cycle follows the Cooks River Cycleway through Tempe, Wolli Creek, Brighton Le Sands to Captain Cook Bridge. You cross the bridge on the eastern side and return on the western side. The cycle returns to Sth Strathfield along the same route.

The cycle is along shared cycleways with some road crossings. Strathfield Station is approx 2.5 km from the start point.
